Yesterday’s drive from southern to northeastern Utah was absolutely spectacular. Damn good thing because Arches and Bryce on a sunny Saturday in April (duh) were mobbed. As in two hour lines to get in mobbed. We kept moving, with a few stops along the way, until we arrived in Colorado and camped at the Colorado National Monument. It was a very hilly, twisty, tight, two- narrow -tunnels drive up the mountain in high winds–exciting for the passenger. The views, of course, were stunning and it was a pleasant night to camp under the stars.
We are making tracks today too–driving through Colorado to Nebraska. We have seen so much in a relatively short time and what a blast. Still more to see including relatives in Chicago!

Amazing and terrifying travel. You would have to drug me to get me to drive through the hilly, twisty, double road, narrow bridges up the mountain…whew…then you had to drive down the mountain! I know it was worth it…but not me. Just show me the pictures…thank you.

Looks fantastic! And those roads are scary – definitely worse for the passenger. When we have traveled similar – I find myself leaning away from the edge of the cliff. Like that would help – ha! Safe travels to Chi-town 🙂
Mike handles this Rig well but it is tall—11 feet—and picks up wind. I lean too and duck—because it helps. 🤓
