We are in a happy groove of running the dogs on the beach, working or relaxing to the sound of the waves, eating our meals on the patio and listening to great music. Seems like there is a decent undertow, so trying to keep 12 lbs Beans out of the water is a lively game. He is devilishly fast.
We have had so much fun with Rachel’s roommates– and her boyfriend Alex made it out for dinner too. What a treat to spend time with Rachel and her friends and soak up that young, bright energy.
Planning the way back now, which will start Friday morning. Need to do some research to get us through places like Nebraska and Iowa–Utah has all the cool places! I think we will be home around May 4–that is the loose plan now.
